ES1-N-MK2

ES1-N-MK2 is a hermetic camera specifically designed for TUNNEL applications. It is made of electropolished AISI316L stainless steel or AISI316Ti titanium version.

The front of the  housing is equipped with IR or LED / white light illuminators.

The housing is equipped with Elecom’s  PMS (Power Manegemnt System) enabling using a singular PoE+ (ethernet installation) cable only! It is a cost-efficient solution.

During frost, heavy snowfall or strong squall outside a tunnel, the housing glass heating system ensures uninterrupted perfect visibility, and also prevents from contamination inside the glass during large temperature changes.

Thanks to ability to capture clear images, the ES1-N-Mk2 offers effective tunnel safety and protection. It is also possible possible to install a third party AID in the camera, allowing for automatic incident detection. Should an incident occur in a tunnel protected by ES1-N-Mk2, a tunnel control center operators can respond immediately. The incident of fire is then reported to the motorway control center, so that traffic coming in and out of the tunnel ne rerouted or stopped. This helps avoid any further complications.

The tunnel camera is resistant to elevated vibrations and tests typical for tunnel conditions.

Not only can the ES1-N-Mk2 withstand harsh tunnel environments of corrosive exhaust gases and vibrations, it can also endure the high-pressure water jets used during periodical tunnel cleaning.
